As players start the "In Entropy’s Grasp" Quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard, they’ll be instantly transported to the Arlathan Forest, specifically the Ritual Site, where they will meet Bellara. The quest involves teaming up with Bellara to help her disable some broken artifacts.
After finishing the quest, players will earn 100 Veil Jumpers Strength and a Codex Update. Bellara, on her end, uncovers an ancient trove of Elven knowledge known as the Nadas Dirthalen. The Veil Jumpers Strength can be used to enhance the Merchant Shop along with various other valuable materials in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
Elven Ruins Treasure Chest Locations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
In the Elven Ruins, there are four treasure chests waiting to be discovered. Each chest is marked on the map as a pin and contains valuable items that players can sell at the Veil Jumper Camp’s Merchant, boosting their Veil Jumpers Strength and helping them earn extra Gold.
Treasure Chest Location #1
The first chest is found on the Forest Path. To claim it, players need to defeat waves of enemies near a bridge. Head into the ruins to open the chest and receive Gold along with a valuable item.
Treasure Chest Location #2
Once you reach the Mountain Path, take down the Corrupted Sentinel lurking outside. Then:
- Search the room behind the open door for loot.
- Grab the Power Crystal outside.
- Place it on the empty Energy Node.
- Go back behind the open door to find the second treasure chest in the Elven Ruins.
Treasure Chest Location #3
On the top platform of the Broken Stairway, players will encounter a Frenzied Sentinel. Use the Dragon Age: The Veilguard companions’ synergy to defeat it, then claim the third treasure chest located in the Elven Ruins.
Treasure Chest Location #4
After defeating the Frenzied Sentinel, pick up the Power Crystal located by the door with two Energy Nodes, and then:
- Place it on the Energy Node near the eastern door.
- Go through the door and climb to the top of the building inside.
- Attack the Blight Boil on the Ballista.
- Use it to break the wall to the north.
- Eliminate the enemies that appear with an explosive arrow.
- Drop down and go behind the blasted wall to find another Power Crystal.
- Place it on one of the two Energy Nodes, then take the first Crystal and put it on the second Node.
- Climb the stairs, turn west, and claim the fourth Elven Ruins treasure chest!
